Natural diamonds in India || Lab grown diamonds in detail by information00012 blog and in detail notes for UPSC and other exams. The export of diamonds has declined by 15 for its cut and polished range. Because the demand is weak in Indonesia and the international market. Because the polished lab-grown diamonds have a low bidding price but the same shine and luster as the natural diamonds have. That's why the buyer has given priority to lab-grown diamonds, and their market for natural diamonds has declined. And India is the world's largest center for cutting and polishing diamonds. The region of Gujarat is also the best for the diamond industry.

Indian Diamond Industry

Diamond occurs in two types of deposits, primarily in igneous rocks of basic and ultrabasic composition in alluvial deposits. Derived from the primary sources, which may be clear as in the region of MP.

And in the region of Gujarat, where these are naturally found. So that's why their centers are also done up there; that's why these are the major hoppers for the Indian diamond industry. And got a maximum output and gave maximum output in the export.

Indian diamond fields

So let's talk about the diamond fields of India because India has many types of diamond fields.

And many types of fields I have also been introduced to because these are also very important in the economy. Because as we see that the people have discovered the diamond field, they can decline from there.

And they can make it good so that they can sell it in the international market at high prices. So that's why this is also very important to countries, so that they have the diamond fields.

Or it has fields of the thing that is very much primarily used in the market and views in that heavy demand in the market. So that its price also increases and its amount increases as the demand will be fulfilled, the country's exports will also increase.

And it will boost its economy as a country gets more money from outside, and then its economic strength and economic outlook report will be fine.Basically, there are four types of regions in which diamond fields are located.

The South Indian tract is the first in which it includes the region of Andhra Pradesh in the basin of the river Krishna. And also in the end and also in other areas of these river basins because these river basins are prominent in English.

In the Diamond Fields production, because these are also generated naturally. In these areas, that's why the significance of these areas is also very much prominent. And the second region is that the central Indian tract in which the central Indian regions have been signed.

That the main regions of Madhya Pradesh and the other regions of God are also increased in this. Because these regions also include many rivers and river basins.

And as we also know, the river basin and river also have a large number of diamond areas. So that's why these areas will also generate more and more diamonds, and the next one is the East Indian tract.

Because in East India, there are also many types of diamonds and a large amount of diamonds. Though that's why the Buddhisa and Delta of the river Godavari. These places are very important and play a significant role in increasing the diamonds in the diamond fields of India.

Stats of Indian Diamonds

So let's talk about the Indian diamonds instead because we will discuss the stats. So that we can know about that thing, how much amount in which that thing is present.

And also that the thing is very much prominent and also it has been all signed. That these things will increase the amount of it. And then it will also get a boost so that the first one is India, the world's largest cutting and polishing center for over 90 percent of the world.India's exports are more than 75 percent of the world's polished diamonds.

That's why India has a very prominent position among all the countries in the fields of diamond production. And the natural polished diamond, so that's why these also play a very important role for the Indian economy.

Because India generated a huge economy from there because India generated huge money from there. And also, it will lead to an increase in its Forex reserve that will also help from an economic point of view.

That if a country wants money, but then they can buy from their Forex reserves from other countries and from other international organizations like the IMF and World Bank.So that's why this is also a very important thing for the country. India depends on imports of rough gem diamonds for its cutting and polishing industry.

And India has many industries for getting and polishing diamonds, but the natural diamond occurs in very small amounts, so that's why India has to import some diamonds and then polish them and cut them. And then exported them, so that's why in this way it will also get much money.

And there is no notable production expected region because there are basically no regions that will provide high-quality natural diamonds in India. So that's why India has to import these, and then India has to polish them in its industries.

So that it can be exported to other countries in its market. And if we will talk about the diamond sector in India. So it is also the fastest-growing sector, one of the fastest-growing sectors, and contributes to seven percent of the gross domestic product of the country. And 15 percent of total merchandise exports is also a very huge amount.

So that's why we can say that the diamond industry also has a prominent significance for the economy of India. And for the ecological point of view of India and for its industrial point of view, as it also contributes to its gross domestic product.

That's why India also has a good independence on the natural diamonds.

Lab-Grown Diamonds

So let's talk about the lab-grown diamonds. These diamonds are the synthetic diamonds. We have chemical properties and adoptable properties.

Not the same as the natural diamonds. Because the natural diamonds have the same luster as the lab-grown diamonds, and these have the same synthetic chemical properties. And these are seen like the same as the left, from diamonds made cheaply.

So that's why it will also decrease the value of natural diamonds in the international market. And as we have talked about earlier, India has a very good dependence on natural diamonds.

So the decrease in the price of natural diamonds will affect India, and also the increase in the number of lab-grown diamonds will also deteriorate the economy of the country, which is dependent on the natural diamonds. So that's why these are replacing those goods as the alternative and cheaper goods. And these are manufactured by the high-pressure and high-temperature method.

As this method is prominently used to make things that are high pressure and high pressure is evolved, the chemical vapor deposition method is also used. And it begins with a seed or a slice of diamond, and then it will increase that pure graphite is exposed to the main high-degree temperature and extreme pressure.

In high-temperature and pressure conditions so that it can be converted into a diamond-like structure, it is heated around high temperatures and in a shield.

Chamber with carbon-rich gas so that the graphite is carbonially charged, and then it can be converted into the lab-grown diamond as the situation that the natural diamond will face will be created.

In this way, the natural lab-grown diamond will be created. So that's why it has the same properties as natural diamonds.

Application and Significance of Lab-Grown Diamonds

So let's talk about the application and significance of lab-grown diamonds. These are used for the industrial preposition, as in machines, tools, and their hardness, which are extremely strong.

And so that's why they will use the ideal as the cutters and in many of the requirements. Which are used to sharpen those things, and also the pure synthetic diamonds are used in electronics as heat spreaders for high-power laser diodes.

the reason

Because these are poor conductors of electricity and also have a high intensity of heat-absorbing capacity. So that's why these are dry, exposed, and used in these regions in which high heat is faced by the normal optical instrument in which other instruments fail.

So that's why these are also used, and it is also used in the cutter so that it can cut the glass and many other things easily. So that's why these will also increase the amount of production of it.

Because the demand will increase as it is used in various places. And the significance is that the environmental footprint of diamonds is lesser, and a million tons of Earth's crust are defined to get a little amount of diamond. So that's why it will replace the natural align.

So that the production cost will also decrease because we don't have to rectify the Earth's crust. So that we will have to find a very small amount of diamond, we can also do the same process in our lab.

So that we can get a library-grown diamond, but if we have the left current diamonds, then the country. Which have more good technology and get more lab-grown diamonds. And then have more capacity to sell in the international market, so that's why it can gain much more benefit from it.

So that's why the country is like other countries that have good natural diamond production, which will also decline. Because also they have a factor that their price will be harder and not that cheap like the lab-grown diamonds. That's why this will also impact that.

Conclusion

So coming towards the conclusion, as we can see, Surat is the hub for polishing diamonds. And cutting its end lab-grown diamonds are called the blood-free diamonds.Because they guarantee there is no violence and no human rights abuse in making them.

And also there is less environmental damage due to this and the last oil pollution. The major diamond-producing countries for rough diamonds are Russia, Canada, Botswana, South Africa, and Congo.

So we can say that if labor on diamonds increases, these countries won't get much benefit out of it. And also the workers working in these conditions have also not been very much.good conditions.

And also have low wages and lack of job security, so that's why the converting of lab-grown diamonds will also increase and enhance land drive's standard of living. And also the child level is concerned in the regions where the diamonds are mined.

So that's why this will also decrease, and also the environmental impact is also decreasing. And the money laundering and corruption will also decrease by it. Because if the person is creating the labor on diamonds in a lab.

So that it can be controlled by the government, how much of the amount of need is produced in the lab. And where it has gone so that it will decrease the corruption in that case. Because if a person is having a natural diamond, it can make it corrupt because we will not count the amount of it produced.

And then if you have, they have lamb growth diamond. We can also count how many diamonds are produced in how much time and where they have gone, so that's why it is a very important thing.

Thank you.
